For 10 days in December, people could view, bid on, or buy any of the wonderful offerings from our generous sponsors. These included: delightful retreats to the NC beach and mountains, yoga props and accessories, yoga teacher training, experiences to improve your health, and more. We raised a total of $5,100 that will help us fund free, accessible yoga worldwide.
On December 1st, Giving Tuesday, we held Virtual Fundraiser and raised $4,700 to apply toward our programming for 2021. The all-day webinar featured 11 free yoga classes, for all levels of ability, beginner to expert, led by our outstanding local teachers with a variety of styles. Interspersed with the classes were interviews, presentations, and raffles for fun prizes.
We continued our free, accessible yoga classes throughout the fall months. Offered Monday through Saturday, they were a great way for people to begin or continue a regular yoga practice.
Again, these classes were for all levels of ability, beginner to expert, each 1-hour long, presented online, in real time. They were led by our outstanding local teachers with a variety of styles.
