Summer Yoga 2023
We celebrated summer with free, accessible yoga classes, offered 6 days a week, and presented online, in real time from June 5 – July 29. They included SAFE yoga in Greensboro, healing, gentle flow, and Yin classes — on the mat and in chairs — in both English and Spanish.
Spring Yoga 2023
We welcomed spring with free, accessible yoga classes, offered 6 days a week, and presented online, in real time from March 27 – May 20. They included healing, gentle flow, and Yin classes — on the mat and in chairs — in both English and Spanish.
Winter Yoga 2023
We started 2023 with a winter session January 9 – March 4 that included five online classes and, because it’s too cold to practice outdoors at local parks, we added a weekly, indoor class at a studio in Greensboro, NC. Keeping with our mission to value inclusivity, the focus of this new class was to engage and educate racial/ethnic minorities and low-income populations about the benefits of yoga.
Season of Giving 2022
We ended the year with a series of fun events to raise $15,000 so we can continue to offer a weekly schedule of online classes and in-person pop-up events, all free of charge, to a wide audience. We held free, online yoga classes on Giving Tuesday and ran an online auction where you could bid on or buy delightful treats ranging from NC beach vacations to pet portraits and Hurricane tickets.
Fall Yoga 2022
In the fall, we launched a 10-week session September 12 – November 19. Our online classes, which ran in real time, five days a week, included chair and gentle classes with one combo chair & standing yoga class led only in Spanish. We also continued with a weekly in-person bilingual class (English and Spanish) held outdoor at a local park.

Summer in North Carolina is a great time to get outside. In addition to our schedule of online classes, July 18 to August 27, we added in-person bilingual classes outdoor at local parks. Everyone, beginner to expert, could benefit from our healing sessions from the comfort of their homes or out in fresh air.
