Yoga for People Managing Cancer

An event every week that begins at 1:00pm on Thursday, repeating until June 6, 2019
A 10-week series (skipping April 25) of gentle yoga and education on how yoga can help reduce treatment side-effects. Learn simple and effective evidence-informed yoga practices that can reduce pain, fatigue, lymph edema, neuropathy, anxiety, and insomnia. The combination of intention setting, movement, breathing, sound, mudra, and guided visualization empowers a positive connection to the body and soothes the mind and spirit. Open to cancer patients, survivors, and care-givers who are looking for a way to incorporate self-care into their healing journey, and build community in the process. No experience required. Yoga mats and props are available. Please arrive early to settle in.
