Traumatic stress causes physical and emotional pain. We’ll practice using simple movement and nervous system support to alleviate discomfort and feel better. This class is interactive, offering personal support to all bodies–all races, genders, and all levels of practice are welcome. Led by Laura Phoenix.

Laura Phoenix Laura has been teaching yoga full-time since 2012. Providing support for other survivors is her life’s purpose. Experiencing her own, ongoing PTSD, Laura fully grasps both the profound devastation trauma can cause and the deep connection, presence, and joy that can come from healing in its wake.
Laura has worked successfully to serve people suffering from histories of every kind of abuse: folks recovering from eating disorders, drug and alcohol addictions, and personality disorders.
