May 23 @ 7:00 pm - 7:45 pm
An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Sunday, repeating until May 23, 2021
Mindfulness Meditation is not about having a perfectly still mind. Instead, it is about how often and how kindly we can return to our present moment experience, just as it is and just as we are.
This class offers meditations found in both the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program and the Mindful Self-Compassion program, including:
— Awareness of Breath Meditation Practice
— Open Awareness Meditation Practice
— Mountain Meditation Practice
— Compassionate Body Scan Meditation Practice
Each practice is no longer than 30 minutes in duration, starting with a brief explanation of the meditation and some suggestions for meditation postures to try.
