Class 12:00 Adaptive Mat Yoga (with props) Ladies Fitness & Wellness, Raleigh
Enjoy a 75-minute retreat with people of all ages who appreciate the safe and supportive nature of adaptive yoga. This class is appropriate for all skill levels – from first timers to longtime yogis – to explore relaxing the mind, nervous system and body.
The class begins with breathing practices to allow us to better tune into ourselves. With support from blankets, bolsters, blocks and chairs, we create ways to focus on our slow (if at all) moving poses to improve our posture, alignment, strength and balance. We finish with a rest (Savasana) that also utilizes props. Time and stress melt away.
We welcome people with physical challenges. This class is donation-based ($10 or more, please), seeking to be affordable and accessible to anyone. Your comments are invited.
