YogaFest NC 2016

Saturday, April 2 at the McKimmon Center

YogaFest NC brings together people of all levels of mobility and yoga experience from the Triangle and beyond to practice accessible and diverse styles of yoga.  Throughout the day sponsors, exhibitors and teachers will provide information and healing practices to improve health, mobility, and well being. Joy, energy, inspiration, healing, and fun will be evident throughout the whole building and zen garden at the McKimmon Center. YogaFest NC offers continuing education seminars for teachers and advanced students, plus yoga classes for youth ages 6 and up.

Last year our fourth YogaFest NC brought together about 440 yogis, teachers, business representatives and volunteers to the McKimmon Center on Saturday April 11, 2015. The general energy shared by attendees was of elation, inspired by a high quality of teachers, event organization and exhibits. Having two more rooms allowed for full classes without crowding. Special thanks to our volunteers, coordinated by Carole Eagle, plus our 25 volunteer teachers, which include seminar teachers Jill Sockman, Julee Snyder, Carol Krucoff and Mary Scudella.  Check out this year's exciting schedule of classes and the amazing teachers leading them!

YogaFest NC serves as our main fundraiser to support programs that help the physically challenged and under-served improve their lives with yoga. If you are interested in volunteering at YogaFest NC 2016,  please contact Shannan at YogaFestNC2016@gmail.com.
