Enjoy a retreat with people of all ages who appreciate the safe and supportive nature of adaptive yoga. We are open to all skill sets, from first timer to long-time yogi, to explore relaxing the mind, nervous system, and body. The class begins with breathing practices to allow us to better tune into ourselves. With support from blankets, bolsters, blocks and chairs, we create ways to focus on our slow (if at all) moving poses to improve our posture, alignment, strength and balance. We finish with a rest (Savasana) that also utilizes our props. Time and stress melt away.
We welcome people with physical challenges. Our classes are donation-based ($8 or more, please), seeking to be affordable and accessible to anyone.
