Barbara Vosk, Ph.D and RYT200, has been an active yoga practitioner for over 10 years. She completed the 285-hour yoga teacher training program at blue lotus yoga and movement arts studio in Raleigh, and will be completing her 500-hour training in late April 2016. Viewing yoga as a powerful tool to facilitate physical and emotional health, Barbara received additional training in Restorative Yoga and became certified in Therapeutic Yoga. As a licensed psychologist for over 30 years, she has helped adults cope with anxiety, depression and recovery from trauma. She is passionate about integrating yoga into her psychotherapy practice and loves bringing her healing energy into her yoga classes.
Barbara currently teaches Restorative Yoga at Bliss Body Yoga studio in Raleigh, and co-created a Yoga for Anxiety Relief workshop and class series which is offered regularly in the Raleigh area.
