Sherita discovered yoga after a health scare in 2013. "I was sitting at my desk at work and suddenly, I could no longer hold my head up or keep my eyes open. My head was throbbing. I rushed to urgent care only to be told I was 2 minutes from experiencing a stroke and needed to be admitted into emergency care. Right then and there I decided to take better care of my body. After taking a free community yoga class, I felt I found a practice to improve my health condition and integrate the connection between mind, body and spirit. I was hooked!"
Sherita is currently working towards her Level I Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training and will earn her RYT200 certification by February 2016.
