When life gets stressful or things feel out of control, it can cause us to become reactive. When we respond in this way, we have lost our sense of grounding and are disconnected from our true selves. Yoga practices can help us reconnect with our steady center, allowing us to ride the inevitable waves of life with more ease and grace. In this mat-based, gentle class we will explore breathing practices that invite relaxation, slow stretches and movement to create openness in the body, and meditation to help settle the mind. Appropriate for all levels of yoga practitioners.
